Tyle
czekania…tyle marudzenia… aż tu nagle wstaję sobie dziś rano, patrzę na komórkę, a tam 2 maile :D
1. Zostałam zaakceptowana przez agencje USA
2. Mam rodzinę na profilu !!!
Tak, tak …dosłownie 3 h. od momentu uruchomienia mojej
aplikacji.
A teraz najlepsze:
Kalifornia, Los Angeles, Dzielnica Los Angeles, która mieści
się zaraz przy plaży nad oceanem (przy tej samej, gdzie kręcono „Słoneczny
Patrol”), trójka dzieci w wieku szkolnym 8,8,10 lat, mają pieska i to
taaaaakiego pięknego :) Tata prawnik a mama coś tam
z finansami robi. Napisali, że od 6 lat mają Au pair, także wydaje mi się, że nie powinno być
żadnych problemów. No i nie zaczęli swojego listu od „ Hi, we are family of 5
, very busy family…” , jak ja nie lubię jak rodziny tak piszą…
Napisałam więc do nich e-mail z podziękowaniami, że się mną
zainteresowali i czy nie zechcieliby porozmawiać na Skype, dostałam odpowiedź
od Pani B :
Hi Marlena,
I enjoyed reading your profile and It looks like you've had a chance to look at ours online. We are an active family of five, Dad-Robert, Mom-Barbara, Justin is 9 years old, Nico and Luc are identical twins who are 7 years old. Both Robert and I work. Our children are active, easy going and happy who love many different types of activities like art, cooking, sports and hiking to name a few. We are looking for an au pair who will take a genuine interest in their development and is ready to be a big part of their lives as a friend and sister.
We live in a beautiful neighborhood by the Pacific Ocean in Los Angeles called Pacific Palisades. There are a lot of activities in our area. The Santa Monica, Malibu and Venice beaches are minutes away. Some of the more popular things to do close by are hiking, rollerblading, cycling, going to movies, shopping, theater, bars and cafes.
We are looking for our au pair to join our family in April.
I am quite interested to learn more about you. It would be very helpful to get to know you better if you could answer the following questions as detailed as you can:
Why did you choose to study national security?
Where and when did you get your degree? What have you been doing since?
Can you talk about your work experience (both child care related and non child care related). What were/ are your responsibilities?
What is a typical day like for you?
What is a busy day like for you?
Can you describe your driving experience? How many times a week do you drive a car and how far?
I look forward to hearing from you!
